Manon Stravens

I am Manon, 47 years old, journalist and researcher. With my work, I mainly want to show the impact of our trade and walk worldwide on human rights and the environment. Whether that's about sugar, plastic, or coffee. But I also like to write about ‘lighter’ subjects, such as mountain hiking, my great hobby. Being allowed to look into someone else's kitchen is one of the nicest aspects of journalism. At the same time, I am very concerned about freedom of the press and hope to contribute with RFG to a world where journalists can (continue to) do their job. After all, they are far too much needed to tell the stories that would otherwise never be told.
