RFG Newsroom

RFG Newsroom is a work-study programme for experienced journalists who wish to develop their skills in investigative journalism. Each year, we select a small group of motivated journalists for the Newsroom. The team spends eight months working on a journalistic project that results in publications with RFG and other media outlets.

In 2026, the Newsroom is dedicated to solution-oriented journalism (solutions journalism). This means using journalistic means to research solutions to social problems. We investigate and describe what works, what does not work and what lessons can be learned.
