I (b. 1989, Syria) am a journalist, news editor and media professional with expertise in the Middle East. I worked as a news editor for websites, news agencies and television, helping to prepare interviews and press releases. For more than 10 years, I gained experience at various media platforms in the Middle East, notably Palestine Today TV (website and television) and the Shababeek website. I worked for the Palestinian Camps News Network in Syria (PCNN) and wrote opinion articles and blogs for several Arab websites, including Al Jazeera blogs, Arabi21 and Arabi Post.

My journalistic work focuses on the political and social issues of the Middle East in general, with a focus on Syria and Palestine. In addition, partly through my studies, I focus on researching and analysing the impact of political, social and cultural issues on digital platforms by following discussions.

Through my work, I try to raise awareness about political and social issues of the Middle East. I also strive to support the most vulnerable and marginalised groups, including refugees, migrants, people of colour and other groups underrepresented in the media. My goal is to amplify the voices of these groups and make their stories more visible, to work towards a world that is more just and equal for all.
